I would love to know the other supplements you take too. Just curious if we take similar things.

Thx for your encouragement and witness for Jesus!

Can you please give us some more information on the best type of protein powder and what to look for in a good protein powder? I currently use a plant based protein powder but I don’t know if it has everything I need. I am not plant based, I was once dairy free but can now have dairy.

Also, how many grams of creatine do you take daily?

I take 5g of creating a day. Try googling your current bran or plant protein to see if it’s complete. Often plant proteins can lack 12 or a few of the essential aminos. Plant proteins have higher fiber (yay!) but lower pure protein (boo). Where an isolate (a way the protein get processed )is up to 90% pure protein, plant proteins are lower, like 50-80% generally.

I say if you’re feeling good on the protein supplement, you’re taking no need to change. But if you are resistance training and would like to get the most out of your training time, looking to feed your muscle and grow it, maybe switch it up.

Isolates can be hard on the stomach sometimes.

Above all things, pay attention to your body. It knows best. Be curious, of course. But if you’re stressed about getting enough protein, your body can reject protein.

I’ve taken creatine consistently for the last year and noticed when I’m cheap and stop buying it I feel more brain fog and it takes longer for me to recover from workouts. So I make sure now to always have it! A new study just came out this month on creatine and Alzheimer’s patients, very promising!
