Thanks! They are fun to do. I don’t know who listens but doesn’t matter. Like talking to a “friend”. I get to do that stuff here. And wait until you hear my crazy story to come. lol 😜
Love your Substacks! Always listen while on a walk. Trying to activate that prefrontal cortex 😁
Sometimes to slow pace of that can feel monotonous and get boring and I can begin to lose interest over time. Any tips that can help us keep showing up even in the mundane?
“ when my desires aren’t lining up with the facts, I’m prone to think, feel, and act in ways that don’t reflect who Jesus is making me to be.”
I have been operating in this manner for the past few years and it is physically hurting me. Some days I live like Jesus, but many days it is SO hard. Your post really helps me understand what is happening. Thank you for articulating this because I couldn’t quite sort it out!
I’ve never thought of myself as a fearful person but it seems as I’ve gotten older (I’m 44) fear is starting to take root and driving decisions. And now that I know this, I’ve got something to work with.
Jesus is so faithful to bring wisdom, healing, and community to His people!
Stay with me. I’ll guide you as He guides us all out of the valley of fear. But there’s always much to learn about ourselves when we are down in the valley. Ask those kind and curious questions then rise with the Spirit’s truth.
Your body is not a problem. Your heart has needs. Jesus wants to meet them. Keep coming back to Him.
I listened on my walk today. It was like having an easy conversation with a friend. Keep doing them! I got some good nuggets of truth out of there ❤️

Hmmm…elaborate. I want to be clear on the struggle.
Okay, soooo- Get curious- got it 👍🏼 but- How do we remain curious…remain in the prefrontal cortex…when the hard goes on and on (for years)?
Walked and listened!! Thank you
This was such a good message! Thank you Alisa!
You’re so very welcome. Thanks for listening

Thank you
God bless!!
That's the ticket!
I listened on my walk today. Loved it. I'm not on social media all that much but when I am you're my favorite influencer.
Hey Kim! It's one of the reasons I wanted a Substack. Back to less people, more depth :) (And less noise!) Happy to be here with you .
I listened! Always inspired by your talks. Thank you!
Well. There’s more where that came from. Have i got a story to tell you guys. Coming soon 🤣
